Full Art/Pikachu EX 1st Edition (Pokemon Japanese Expansion 20th Anniversary #94/87) has a PSA 10 market cap of $15.1M on CardZ Marketcap as of Oct 13, 2026: PSA 10 price $7,889 × PSA 10 population 1,914. Ranked #65 by market cap among 1,677 ranked cards across CardZ Marketcap.

Background

The 2016 Japanese Pikachu EX numbered 94/87 comes from CP6 Expansion Pack 20th Anniversary, issued 16 September 2016. It reads as a contemporary EX take on the original Base Set Pikachu rather than a new mascot pose.

The 94/87 count sits past the set’s 87-card list, the usual Japanese secret-rare overflow. Mitsuhiro Arita, who drew the Base Set Pikachu, also signed this EX. CP6 carried a wave of classic Pokémon recast as EX cards for the twentieth year of the TCG.

Color and line work are the usual praise. Centering and print lines come up when copies go to PSA, BGS, or CGC. The card is chased as an anniversary bridge between early sets and the EX era.

METHOD & DATA

How the market cap number is built

Market cap is the current PSA 10 reference price multiplied by the verified PSA 10 population, recalculated on every daily update.

Reference price
The most recent completed PSA 10 sale captured inside CardZ Marketcap tracked coverage. Lots are unitised down to a single card, and a sale priced far outside its own recent range is rejected in favour of the next most recent one.
Population
The verified PSA 10 population for that exact printing — language, set, collector number and parallel are never merged across printings.
Gaps
A card with insufficient data coverage in the window is marked as accumulating rather than being given a filled-in number. A missing value stays missing, never zero.
